Job description
Build and run our enterprise AI capability across a decentralized global business. You'll be the primary advisor on AI initiatives company-wide, guiding them from idea to deployment while setting practical standards for security, risk, and governance. It's a player-coach role: hands-on with delivery early, then growing and leading a small multinational AI team.
What You'll Do
Own intake and prioritization for AI requests; advise build vs. buy vs. defer.
Integrate AI with enterprise data, Microsoft 365, ERP, CRM, and other systems.
Build generative AI, RAG, and agent-based solutions.
Design and deliver hands-on AI training across the business.
Partner with Cybersecurity, Legal, HR, Finance, and Audit on practical risk controls.
Build and lead a small multinational delivery team; manage consultants/partners.
Work closely with Data & Analytics and Enterprise Applications leadership.
What You'll Need
6+ years in software engineering, architecture, or data engineering.
Recent hands-on experience building production AI/ML or automation solutions.
Experience leading projects, consultants, or small (including offshore) teams.
Strong Python, SQL, APIs.
Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector search, agent workflows.
Understanding of AI governance, security, and enterprise controls.
Strong communication skills; comfortable advising execs and training users.
Comfortable in an evolving, decentralized environment.
Nice to Have
Manufacturing or multi-site operations background.
SOX or regulated-environment experience.
Experience standing up an AI governance program.
Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related (or equivalent experience).
