Overview

Build Your Career. Make an Impact.

Join our team and take the next step in a career where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and desire to learn can make a meaningful impact.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable team member who is eager to learn and contribute across multiple areas of our business. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can rapidly become proficient in our business systems and apply that knowledge across our various divisions.

This position has two primary areas of responsibility: manufacturing data management and product costing.

In the data management portion of the role, you will maintain critical product information within our SAP system. This information supports the manufacturing of products for leading OEM customers such as Caterpillar and Deere, as well as products manufactured under our own brands. You will work closely with Engineering and other departments to create and maintain shop routings and bills of materials (BOMs) for new products. You will also manage product revisions and ensure changes are accurately documented and communicated to the appropriate teams.

The second major focus of the position is product costing. You will review engineering drawings and specifications to determine the manufacturing processes required to produce a product. Working closely with our Tooling and Operations teams, you will identify and capture all applicable costs within our costing system. The resulting information supports both accurate product costing and the development of shop routings and bills of materials.

This is a key position that connects Engineering, Estimating, Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate information is available to successfully manufacture our products.

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are representative of the position and are not intended to be all-inclusive. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities as business needs require.

* Create, maintain, and release bills of materials and shop routings within SAP.

* Ensure accurate engineering and manufacturing information is available to support Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, and other departments.

* Gather and organize documentation required to support new and revised projects, including customer drawings, 3D models, quotes, and purchase orders.

* Process internal and external product revisions and communicate revision details to the appropriate teams.

* Prepare quotes for new and revised OEM products serving the agriculture, construction, industrial, and military markets. Plus, quoting activities for company-owned products within our Power Equipment, Automation, and Truck Body divisions.

* Solicit quotes from suppliers and review them for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements.

* Review engineering drawings and product specifications to determine manufacturing processes and associated costs.

* Print and distribute engineering drawings and related documentation to appropriate shop-floor work areas.

Qualifications

* Strong willingness and ability to learn new processes, systems, and aspects of the business.

* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and business systems.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is preferred.

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Operations, Tooling, Purchasing, Accounting, suppliers, and other internal teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in manufacturing and is interested in an office-based position in engineering.
