nPosition Summary:
nThis position is responsible for maintaining safety and order during events.
nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
nnnProvides service and safety to our guests in non-gaming locations
n
nnProvides point of entry support for various venues across property
n
nnGreets and guides guests
n
nnProtects patrons and employees, patrols for illegal and unusual situations and safeguards the company’s assets
n
nnChecks ID’s for underage patrons
n
n nSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:
nnnWorks closely with department supervisors and managers to assist with daily activities
n
nnMaintains the safety and security of patrons, performers and tour personnel throughout the property
n
nnCommunicates in a clear, concise and professional manner in verbal, written and radio communications
n
nnExecutes principle of SMART; detection of false identification
n
n nMinimum Education and Qualifications:
nnnHigh School Diploma or equivalent
n
nnMust be able to effectively communicate in English
n
nnPrevious customer service experience or experience dealing with the public
n
n nCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
nnnGood communication skills
n
nnAbility to respond to emergencies in an expedited manner
n
nnAbility to work independently
n
nnAbility to work in pressure situations
n
n nTraining Requirements:
nnnKnowledge of department policies and procedures
n
nnKnowledge of the property and its offerings
n
nnKnowledge of the arena’s emergency evacuation plan
n
nnKnowledge of the arena’s post duties
n
n nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:
nnnMust be able to work in a high energy environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting
n
nnMust be able to work in an environment with strobe lighting or flashing lighting
n
nnMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
n
nnMust be able to stand, walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time
n
nnMust be able to work outside in various weather conditions
n
nnMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
n
