Executive Support Engineer (60% Mac / 40% Windows)
A leading global asset management firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Support Engineer to join its Technology team in New York City.
Supporting a 60% macOS / 40% Windows environment , you'll be the trusted technology partner to the Executive Committee, senior leadership team, and Board of Directors, delivering a seamless, white-glove technology experience while contributing to modern workplace engineering initiatives.
This is a highly visible role that combines executive-facing support with infrastructure engineering, requiring exceptional technical expertise, professionalism, and discretion.
The Role
As the primary technology contact for senior leadership, you'll ensure executives remain connected, secure, and productive—whether in the office, working remotely, at home, or travelling internationally.
You'll provide high-touch Executive Support while leading endpoint and workplace technology initiatives across Microsoft 365, Intune, and Apple Enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver dedicated Executive Support to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and senior leadership team.
Provide rapid resolution of hardware, software, mobile device, and secure remote access issues.
Lead the technical delivery of Board meetings, executive presentations, investor meetings, and high-profile hybrid events, supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and enterprise AV technology.
Configure and support executive laptops, mobile devices, and secure travel technology, ensuring seamless connectivity worldwide.
Deliver one-to-one technology onboarding and coaching, enabling executives to maximise Microsoft 365, Apple devices, and AI-powered productivity tools.
Lead engineering initiatives, including Microsoft Intune deployments, endpoint lifecycle management, and workplace technology improvements.
Develop and maintain PowerShell automation to improve operational efficiency.
Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, and modern endpoint management solutions.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the executive technology experience through automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience providing Executive Support to C-level executives, Board members, or senior leadership within a corporate environment.
Experience within Asset Management, Investment Management, Financial Services, Hedge Funds, or Investment Banking is highly preferred.
Strong experience supporting a 60% macOS / 40% Windows enterprise environment.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and Endpoint Manager.
Expert-level knowledge of macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
Strong PowerShell scripting and Group Policy administration experience.
Experience supporting executive collaboration technologies, conference rooms, and hybrid meeting environments.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently to senior business leaders.
Calm under pressure, highly organised, and able to maintain complete discretion when supporting senior executives.
