We operate four retail brands: America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Eyeglass World, and Vista Opticals inside select Fred Meyer stores and on select military bases.Join a dynamic, innovative work environment where your efforts are recognized, training is prioritized, and growth is always possible.Job DescriptionShift Hours Tailored for You:Choose between two convenient shift schedules:MON - THURS (with some Saturdays) : 5:00 AM - 3:30 PMSUN, MON, TUES (with some Saturdays) : 4:00 PM - 4:30 AMWED, THUR, FRI (with some Saturdays) : 4:00 PM - 4:30 AMWhat You'll Do:As an Optical Manufacturing Associate, you'll play an integral role in our production team. Based on department needs, your duties may include tasks such as:Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards.Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.Surface: Using state of the art CNC optical machinery.
