Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician you will deliver exceptional primary care within our rural/underserved track for Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Maricopa, Arizona. This role offers unparalleled work-life balance within a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment.
nIn this role, you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of your patients and their families.
nTo be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician.You will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. You will exhibit effective communication skills and thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
nnnOutpatient + Inpatient teaching service coverage and/or Family Medicine Obstetrics
n
nnOutpatient Mon-Fri days with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements
n
nnFlexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular
n
nnCall is 1:4 or less (by telephone only with residents being first call)
n
nnOutpatient: 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours per week
n
nnInpatient: Every 4th week or less frequently, 1 week at a time x 7 days with compensation days provided (No outpatient duties during inpatient week or post-inpatient compensation days)
n
nnAvg 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days
n
nnGreat MA support + RN onsite
n
nnAcademic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix-Open rank based on prior experience and academic output
n
nnTeaching Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.
n
