Location : Thompson, CT (with occasional coverage in Canterbury, CT)
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No evening or weekend requirements)
This physician-led private practice offers a rare combination of deeply rewarding community medicine and high-tech efficiency. Driven by rapid regional patient demand, the founding leadership is expanding to welcome an additional physician who values clinical autonomy, personalized mentorship, and long-standing patient relationships without the bureaucratic friction of a traditional health system.
Scope of Practice : Practice true full-scope primary care across a multi-generational panel-spanning pediatrics to geriatrics-with standard 30-minute physicals, 60-minute AWVs, and 15-minute acute slots. Given the regional distance to academic medical centers, you will manage complex chronic conditions alongside minor procedures including joint injections, paps, and advanced diagnostics such as Fibroscans.
Practice Culture & Mentorship : Join a close-knit, highly collaborative care model featuring 2 physicians and 3 PAs. The founding physician can provide exceptional hands-on mentorship tailored for recent residency graduates, fostering an environment where patients frequently treat the clinical team like extended family.
Operational Efficiency & Modern Tech : Benefit from an ultra-efficient care infrastructure designed for absolute administrative relief, featuring a minimum 1:1 MA-to-provider ratio, inbox and prior authorization management, and state-of-the-art AI scribes that virtually eliminate after-hours charting.
