Field Service Technician / Engineer
Walton Hills, Ohio
Have hands-on electrical experience and enjoy figuring out how things work? We’d like to talk with you.
Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialized electrical equipment used by Data Centers, AI, industrial, manufacturing and utility customers.
This opportunity could be a good fit if you’ve worked in electrical maintenance, industrial maintenance, electrical controls or field service. You don’t need experience with every type of equipment Controllix makes. A solid electrical foundation and willingness to learn are what matter.
What you’ll do
Visit customer locations to install, inspect, troubleshoot and service electrical equipment.
Find and resolve problems involving wiring, electrical components and controls.
Perform preventive maintenance and confirm equipment operates properly after repairs.
Help customers understand equipment operation and maintenance.
Keep clear service notes and work with the engineering team when additional support is needed.
What you’ll need
Hands-on electrical experience is required , including troubleshooting or maintaining electrical equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical test equipment and hand tools.
Safe work habits, dependability and the ability to communicate with customers.
Willingness to travel to customer locations and a valid driver’s license.
Helpful experience, but not required
Experience with motor controls, control panels, relays, switchgear or power systems is a plus.
