Now Hiring: Flux Core Welder (FCAW Welder)A local manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder (FCAW) to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing flux-cored arc welding on various metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality welds consistently.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) on metal structures and componentsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbolsSet up welding machines and adjust settings based on job specificationsInspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standardsUse grinders, cutting torches, and hand tools as neededCollaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet daily goalsMaintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocolsPerform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to supervisorsRequirementsProven experience as a Flux Core Welder (FCAW)Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and engineering drawingsStrong understanding of welding processes, metals, and fabrication techniquesAbility to lift up to (X lbs) and perform physically demanding tasksExcellent attention to detail and quality controlMust have reliable transportation and good attendanceMust pass a weld test, background check, and drug screen (client specific)PPE required (weld hood, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)Preferred QualificationsExperience welding in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAWS certifications (optional but a plus)Experience with MIG, stick, or TIG weldingKnowledge of fabrication and fittingWhy Work With Us?Weekly pay through Express Employment ProfessionalsLong-term, stable welding opportunityOvertime availablePotential for advancement within the fabrication teamWork with a respected local companySupportive team and safe work environment
