1st Shift Folder Gluer Operator / Lead OperatorA growing folding carton manufacturer is expanding its operations in the area and adding experienced Folder Gluer Operators, Lead Operators, and Supervisor-level talent to its 1st shift team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Folder Gluer Operator—or a strong Assistant Operator ready to move up—to join a progressive, technology-driven company that continues to invest in modern equipment, automation, employee training, and long-term growth.Why Consider This Opportunity?• $28–$40+ per hour, depending on experience• Overtime opportunities• 1st shift• Outstanding company benefits• Paid technical training• Regular performance and compensation reviews• Advancement opportunities for strong performers• Opportunities to move into Lead and Supervisor positions• Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates• Modern, progressive folding carton operation• Stable company with low employee turnover• Strong team-oriented culture• Company trains, develops, and promotes from withinThe PositionReporting to the Production Manager, the Folder Gluer Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining high-speed folder gluer equipment used in the production of printed folding cartons and paperboard packaging.You'll work with modern converting equipment producing quality cartons for customers across a variety of markets.Responsibilities include:Setting up and operating high-speed folder gluer equipmentCompleting machine changeovers and make-readiesSetting feeders, belts, rails, folding sections, compression sections, and delivery systemsSetting and monitoring glue systemsRunning a variety of folding carton stylesMaking adjustments throughout the run to maintain quality and productivityInspecting cartons for proper folds, glue application, registration, and overall qualityTroubleshooting equipment and production issuesMonitoring production speeds and minimizing waste and downtimePerforming routine preventative maintenanceMaintaining an organized and safe work areaWorking closely with Die Cutting, Printing, Quality, and Production teamsExperience We're Looking ForCandidates should have 1–2+ years of Folder Gluer experience, preferably in a folding carton or paperboard packaging environment, with equipment such as:Bobst | Heidelberg | Jagenberg | Brausse | Koenig & Bauer | Signature | International PaperBox | Similar Folder Gluer EquipmentExperience producing straight-line, auto-bottom/crash-lock, 4-corner, 6-corner, and other folding carton configurations is especially attractive.You do not need experience on the company's exact equipment. If you understand folder gluer setups, folding carton construction, glue systems, quality requirements, and machine troubleshooting, the company is willing to train you on its specific equipment.Ready to Move Up?Experienced Folder Gluer Assistants are encouraged to apply.
