Front Office Medical AssistantClinical Renal Associates (CRAL) Exton, PA | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, Day ShiftAt Clinical Renal Associates (CRAL), we believe exceptional patient care begins with an exceptional patient experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical office and wants to make a meaningful impact every day.What You'll DoAs a Front Office Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care by supporting both the front office and clinical team.Administrative ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional customer service.Register patients and verify demographics, insurance coverage, referrals, authorizations, and required documentation.Scan and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR).Explain privacy policies and ensure all required documentation is completed.Schedule new and follow-up appointments according to office protocols.Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and reconcile daily payment batches.Answer incoming phone calls, assist patients, and route calls appropriately.Communicate appointment delays and help ensure patients remain informed and comfortable.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and waiting area.Clinical ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and documenting relevant information.Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician.Perform basic laboratory testing, EKGs, suture removal, and dressing changes as ordered.Provide patient education regarding medications, diet, and treatment plans.Process prescription refill requests as directed by the provider.Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies.Support providers with daily patient care and clinical workflow.Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program (in accordance with state requirements).Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment.Preferred QualificationsCurrent BLS certification for healthcare providers.One or more years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice or outpatient setting.Experience with athenaClinicals or a comparable electronic health record system.Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and front office workflows.Experience performing basic clinical procedures, including EKGs, laboratory testing, and medication administration.Why Join Clinical Renal Associates?Monday-Friday schedule with no weekendsSupportive team environment that values collaboration and patient-centered careOpportunity to work alongside experienced nephrology providersCareer advancement opportunities within the Panoramic Health networkCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidays401(k) with company matchLife and disability insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramOngoing training and professional developmentApply Today!If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoy a role that combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, we'd love to hear from you.
