Job description
A recognized healthcare services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Gastroenterology team.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Conducting gastroenterology assessments of patients and documenting findings
Initiating, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
Comparing clinical diagnostic findings to make differential diagnoses
Utilizing evidence-based practices for complex patients
Evaluating diagnoses and the effectiveness of interventions
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience
Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN)
NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
Eligible for DEA registration
Familiarity with EMR and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced training in Gastroenterology
