Gate AttendantCarolina Poly, Inc. in Chester, SC, is currently seeking Gate Attendants to join our team. Carolina Poly produces several lines of polyethylene products including high-quality trash bags and construction films. Carolina Poly is a new facility that is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.Gate Attendants work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesPatrol grounds both on foot and in a vehicle.Patrol inside the office and factory floor.Ensure access points are locked at specified times.Contact police or fire departments in event of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.Provide coverage for other grounds attendants as needed.Complete daily report.Communicate with your relief to ensure smooth shift transition.Assist in the gatehouse as needed.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:Excellent communications skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.At least six months' experience in a security role preferred.The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Carolina Poly procedures.Individual must be able to operate a motor vehicle on the propertyIndividual should possess excellent communication skills.Individual should possess strong computer skillsCarolina Poly offers competitive compensation packages including Medical/Dental, paid vacations and holidays, and 401(K).
