Cleaning ProfessionalGeneral duties of the Cleaning Professional are to maintain safety and cleanliness of the worksite, to communicate with the client to provide the best service possible, and to represent the culture of PBS to our clientsRequirementsReport to and follow the directions of the building supervisor. Follow schedule and do things as they appear on it. Relieve, assist, or fill in temporarily on other jobs assigned by the supervisorDust, sweep, and/or mop floors as necessary; wash windows and window sills as needed; scrub or strip and wax floors as scheduled; sweep exterior walkwaysClean and sanitize restroom fixtures, hardware, tile, mirrors, partitions, floors, etc. Replace restroom supplies as neededReport any damage to your supervisor and report maintenance needsLoad and unload supplies and equipmentAssist in any maintenance work or minor repairs as neededClean all tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store in their proper placeQualificationsHigh School DiplomaAbility to pass a background check.Be willing to work flexible hours, based on the needs of the CompanyPhysical DemandsSustained periods of standing, sitting, walking and kneelingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
