Operations Manager/General Manager (Plumbing)
About the Role
Our client is seeking an Operations Manager/General Manager to oversee day-to-day service operations, focusing on workflow efficiency, cost control, and team coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader ready to take ownership of business operations and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations across service, dispatch, and customer service teams.
Track operational KPIs, budgets, and job performance.
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
Support leadership in planning, forecasting, and profit/loss reporting.
Mentor supervisors and team leads to drive accountability and results.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in operations or service management (plumbing, HVAC, or trades preferred) in leadership position.
Strong understanding of scheduling, field service logistics, and workflow management.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
Solid analytical, financial, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with service management and CRM systems.
