Job description

VP of Communications

Location: Bethesda, MD (On-Site) | Employment Type: Full-Time | Company: Singh Capital Partners

About Singh Capital Partners

Singh Capital Partners is a family office backing exceptional founders building transformative companies. We invest across direct opportunities, funds, and co-investments in real estate, private equity, and venture capital — sitting at the nexus of the tech, financial, and political hubs of the country.

Beyond our investment platform, we are building out Singh PAC and Singh Capital Philanthropies, giving our team rare and meaningful exposure across capital, policy, and impact at scale.

We are deliberately assembling a team of sharp, experienced professionals who know how to source, evaluate, and execute and who bring something more to the table. The best candidates will have real investment chops, strong analytical foundations, and the drive to operate at the highest level. What sets our team apart is that we also seek out people who have been deeply excellent at something outside of work: D1 and professional athletes, musicians, artists, builders, and those who have gone all-in on a pursuit that most wouldn’t. We value self-starters, natural connectors, multilingual and multicultural thinkers, and people invested in mentoring the next generation. Credentials matter, so does character.

Role Description

We are looking for a strategic and seasoned VP of Communications to lead all communications efforts across Singh Capital Partners, Singh PAC, and Singh Capital Philanthropies. This role owns our external narrative — including media relations, press strategy, social media presence, LP communications, brand positioning, and crisis communications. You will work directly with firm leadership to ensure our voice is sharp, consistent, and impactful across every platform and audience.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the firm’s communications strategy across all platforms and entities

Manage all media relations, press inquiries, and journalist relationships

Draft press releases, op-eds, statements, talking points, and executive communications

Lead social media strategy and content across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms

Develop and maintain LP communications including newsletters, updates, and event messaging

Support Singh PAC communications, political messaging, and public affairs strategy

Manage brand positioning and ensure narrative consistency across Singh Capital Partners, Singh PAC, and Singh Capital Philanthropies

Advise firm leadership on communications strategy, media opportunities, and reputational matters

Coordinate crisis communications and manage sensitive public-facing situations with discretion

Build and manage relationships with media, political, and institutional contacts

Qualifications

Required

8 years of experience in communications, public relations, or media strategy spanning finance, political, or institutional environments

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills; able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for any audience

Proven experience managing media relationships, drafting press materials, and navigating high-profile communications with discretion

Deep understanding of social media platforms, digital strategy, and modern brand building

Professional demeanor with strong judgment and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field

Preferred

Political communications experience, particularly in PAC, campaign, or government environments

Experience supporting executives within investment firms, private equity, venture capital, or financial services

Existing media and political relationships in the DC metro market

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $130,000 – $180,000

Performance-Based Bonus Opportunity

Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits

Paid Time Off and Company Holidays

Direct exposure to firm leadership and high-profile initiatives across investment, policy, and philanthropy

Why Join Singh Capital Partners

This is a rare opportunity to shape the public narrative of a growing investment platform with reach across capital markets, public policy, and philanthropic impact. You will work directly alongside firm leadership and have meaningful influence over how Singh Capital Partners is perceived across every audience that matters.
