What You’ll Do
As a CT Technologist, you'll play a critical role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Performing CT imaging procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Verifying patient identity and obtaining relevant clinical history prior to procedures
Preparing and administering contrast media under the direction of a radiologist
Operating CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting procedures within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Practicing radiation safety measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff
Assisting with quality control procedures, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance
Responding appropriately to emergency situations, including contrast reactions
Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
Participating in continuing education and maintaining professional certifications

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT Certification in Radiography (R)
ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist and/or CT Technologist licensure, as required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
One to two years of diagnostic imaging experience, including CT procedures
Previous hospital or acute care experience
