FO Advisory Firm is looking to add a Tax Manager to their growing team!
Are you an experienced tax professional with a strong background in high-net-worth (HNW) client advisory? A leading, well-funded wealth management firm is looking for a Senior Tax Strategist to join their team. With a competitive compensation range of $140K-$200K + 11-15% bonus, this role offers the opportunity to work on complex tax planning strategies for affluent individuals and families.

Job Details
As a Senior Tax Strategist, you will be a key player in providing advanced tax planning and advisory services to HNW clients. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a strategic, consultative environment, guiding clients through sophisticated tax strategies while overseeing a team of advisors and preparers. Remote work is an option for candidates in MST / PST with occasional travel. However, we are unable to employ candidates in California.
Responsibilities
Oversee and review complex tax returns for HNW individuals, estates, trusts, and businesses
Develop and implement advanced tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positions
Provide strategic tax guidance in collaboration with financial advisors and estate planning professionals
Research and analyze tax laws to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
Mentor and manage tax advisors, ensuring high-quality client service
Communicate directly with clients, providing clear, proactive tax advice
Support business development efforts through tax-focused client solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 8+ years of tax experience, with a strong focus on HNW clients
CPA required; Master’s in Taxation or CFP preferred
Extensive experience in tax review, planning, and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and families
Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and trust tax strategies
Ability to manage multiple complex client relationships and lead a team
Willingness to travel occasionally if working remotely; must be in our time zone
