In Home Health AideComfort Keepers is now hiring for an in home health aide in the Dassel area! Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy. Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.About the JobAs an in-home caregiver, you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.Meal planning, cooking and baking.Conversation and companionship.Interactive Caregiving.Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.Assistance with medication.Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.Comfort Keepers RequirementsExperience in a caregiving role.Must be available every other weekend and holiday.21 years of age.High School Diploma or GED.Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.DHS and driving record background clearance.Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.Why Comfort Keepers?PTO AccrualWeekly Pay ChecksOne-on-One CareFlexible SchedulesWorks with school schedules, childcare, other jobs, etc.
