Job description

HousekeeperWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. You will be expected to service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stock carts with room supplies, replace bed linens, and replenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances, this role would also be responsible for conducting 'deep cleaning' activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotelService guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel proceduresStock carts with room supplies and replace bed linensReplenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security proceduresConduct 'deep cleaning' activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks, as neededReport any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate departmentFollow all safety and sanitation policies and proceduresRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in housekeeping or a related field preferredKnowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methodsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift and move heavy objects 50 Lbs.Excellent communication and customer service skillsFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as neededWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
