HVAC TechniciansTOPS Staffing has partnered with a growing residential HVAC contractor to hire multiple HVAC Technicians for several divisions of their business. Whether you're looking to start your HVAC career or you're an experienced Service Technician, we currently have opportunities that fit a variety of experience levels. Current openings range from entry-level installation roles to experienced service technicians, with pay ranging from $18-$35/hour based on experience and position.Position 1: HVAC Installation Technician (Entry to Mid-Level)Pay: $18-$25/hr (Based on Experience)This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the HVAC trade. You'll work alongside experienced installers installing complete HVAC systems in newly constructed residential homes.Install residential HVAC systems in new construction homesInstall ductwork, air handlers, furnaces, and related componentsRead basic blueprints and layout drawingsUse hand and power tools safely and efficientlyWork with an experienced installation crew while developing your trade skillsGreat opportunity for candidates with construction, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical experience who want to build a long-term HVAC career.Position 2: HVAC Start-Up / Finish TechnicianPay: Approximately $25/hrPerfect for technicians with 3+ years of HVAC experience who enjoy working independently. This position takes over after the rough installation crew has completed their work. You'll complete the final installation of the HVAC system in newly constructed homes before the homeowner moves in.Install outdoor condensers and complete refrigerant line connectionsInstall thermostats, registers, and final HVAC componentsComplete electrical wiring connectionsStart up and commission HVAC systemsPerform airflow testing and system adjustmentsVerify systems are operating properly before home turnoverThis is not a customer-facing position. You'll work in newly built, unoccupied homes and will not be interacting with homeowners. After training, technicians typically work independently in a company vehicle.Position 3: Residential HVAC Service TechnicianPay: $25-$35/hr (Based on Experience)We're seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians with 3+ years of residential service experience.
