Salary: $145K-$155K
About the Company / The Opportunity:
Join a growing company in the construction industry and play a key role in supporting its legal and commercial needs. As the second U.S.-based attorney, you will establish and lead legal operations, strengthen contract governance, and provide practical legal guidance across a complex industrial business.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage legal operations.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage vendor, procurement, and customer agreements.
Develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and governance standards.
Partner with operations, commercial, finance, supply chain, compliance, and leadership to provide timely, practical legal guidance.
Manage external counsel as needed.
Must-Have Skills:
Juris Doctor degree.
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with eligibility to register as in-house counsel in Arizona.
2+ years of experience in commercial contracts, legal operations, and corporate law.
Strong commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience.
Experience developing legal processes, governance models, templates, playbooks, or operational improvements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Arizona or California bar admission.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Experience supporting an in-house corporate legal department.
Background in construction or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance. xzgxqkn
