In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and commission advanced packaging equipment while helping ensure maximum equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.This position is ideal for candidates with electrical maintenance, industrial manufacturing, automation, or field service experience who enjoy solving technical problems, working independently, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.At Pregis, employees participate in ongoing training and development programs designed to expand technical expertise and create opportunities for career growth.What You'll DoElectrical Troubleshooting & RepairTroubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems on Pregis packaging equipmentDiagnose issues with motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, HMIs, and control systemsTroubleshoot hardware, software, computer networks, and peripheral equipmentUtilize electrical testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to identify root causes and implement solutionsPerform repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiencyEquipment Installation & SupportAssist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and validationProvide technical support to production teams and customersEscalate complex technical issues to the technical support team when necessaryCommunicate technical findings and recommendations clearly and professionallyDocumentation & Customer SupportComplete service reports, escalation reports, time sheets, and maintenance documentation accurately and on timeMaintain parts inventories and assist with emergency parts ordering when neededDeliver excellent customer service through timely problem resolution and effective communicationSafety & Continuous ImprovementFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentParticipate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement effortsSupport reliability, productivity, and equipment performance goalsWhat We're Looking ForStrong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience repairing industrial electrical and electronic systemsAbility to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentationExperience with PLCs, automation systems, and industrial controlsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesCommitment to safety, quality, and teamworkWillingness to travel as neededEducation & ExperienceAssociate's Degree in Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferredEquivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be consideredMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, industrial manufacturing, field service, or a related technical roleExperience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and automation equipment preferredExperience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Exor, or similar control systems is a plusWhy Join Pregis?Competitive payComprehensive benefits packageMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysPaid training and development opportunitiesCareer advancement pathwaysStable and growing manufacturing environmentSafety-focused cultureOpportunity to work with advanced automation and packaging technologyDiversity and InclusionWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
