You'll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot complex electrical issues while helping develop the next generation of electricians.Lead troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex industrial electrical systemsMentor and train entry-level and journeyman electriciansTroubleshoot, maintain, and support Allen-Bradley PLC systemsOversee and support PLC programming and controls-related workDevelop and implement preventative electrical maintenance strategiesIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtimeEnsure electrical installations, repairs, and modifications meet safety and compliance requirementsPartner with operations and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issuesPromote a strong safety culture and ensure proper electrical safety practicesWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced electrician who can take ownership, solve problems, and serve as a technical resource for the team.5+ years of industrial electrical experienceAdvanced knowledge of industrial electrical systemsStrong PLC troubleshooting/programming experienceExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCsAbility to mentor, train, and provide technical leadership to other electriciansStrong commitment to workplace safety and electrical complianceAbility to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including days and nightsMake Your Experience CountAt Silgan Containers, you're not just maintaining equipment — you're helping keep a high-speed manufacturing operation running.
