Industrial PainterWe are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter for a full-time position in Akron, Ohio. This is an industrial painting position requiring experience with professional industrial painting processes and equipment. We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on industrial painting experience.Location: Akron, Ohio Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Overtime: Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM as neededResponsibilitiesPrepare metal and other surfaces for paintingClean, sand, grind, and properly prepare surfacesMix and apply industrial paints and coatingsOperate industrial painting equipmentApply primers, paints, and protective coatings according to specificationsInspect finished surfaces for proper coverage and qualityMaintain painting equipment and work areasFollow safety procedures when handling paints, coatings, solvents, and equipmentWork independently to complete assigned painting projectsQualificationsPrevious industrial painting experience requiredExperience with spray painting and industrial coatings preferredKnowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniquesAbility to read and follow job specificationsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPlease note: This position is not intended for candidates whose only painting experience is in a retail paint department such as Lowe's or Home Depot. Automotive/car painting experience alone does not meet the requirements for this position.
