Japanese Bilingual Inside Sales Specialist
Location: Fremont, CA
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Pay: $26.00–$31.00/hour DOE
Work Style: Onsite training for the first 3 months, with remote work available afterward
Target Start Date: October–November
Position Overview
A growing high-tech manufacturing company is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Inside Sales Specialist to support customers, sales activities, order management, and material coordination.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers while coordinating across sales, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer quotes, purchase orders, sales orders, and RMAs using an ERP system
Serve as a key point of contact for assigned customers
Support Account Managers with customer needs, pricing, and sales activities
Track sales forecasts, open orders, backlog, and key account data
Coordinate with manufacturing teams regarding production and delivery schedules
Monitor inventory and coordinate shipments to meet customer deadlines
Assist with order entry, invoicing, customer inquiries, and account maintenance
Prepare sales and performance reports for management
Qualifications
2+ years of Inside Sales and/or Customer Service experience
Experience in a high-tech or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with data entry, reporting, and spreadsheets
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Japanese language skills required – speaking, reading, and writing
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
