Employee ownership fosters an entrepreneurial spirit, encourages technical expertise, and shapes strategic planning.KCI is currently ranked #50 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 design firms in the nation.We offer a competitive compensation package, family friendly benefits, a collaborative working environment, and the training, mentoring and resources you need to advance in your career.We understand that you have choices, and we know that together we will make a great team!KCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive staff, and we encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply.Duties, Responsibilities & OtherA CEI Landscape Inspector must enjoy field work and have the physical condition to walk construction sites and to perform close examinations of tree roots, branches, leaves, site soils and irrigation systems.We are interested in seeing the combination of skills, experience, certifications, and education that you have to succeed in this field.Duties:Inspect landscape projects to ensure compliance with the contract documentsProduce photo documented reportsMaintain daily records and tracking work progressProfessional communication and interaction with contractors and othersMust find and identify construction deficiencies, evaluate corrective actions, and formulate responsesMust collaborate and coordinate with other members of the teamAttend construction progress meetingsDegrees/Licenses:Green industry Certifications - ISA, LIAF, FNGLA or ability to earn them.Skills:Knowledge of Florida plants and the Florida Grades and Standards for Nursery PlantsCurrent knowledge of landscape installation and maintenance procedures and horticultural practicesWorking knowledge of irrigation systemsKnowledge of the methods, tools and equipment used in the industryUnderstanding of construction plans, specifications, and detailsProficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelAmbitious and committed to producing excellence workManage projects and adapt to ever changing schedulesAbility to travel throughout FloridaQualificationsEducation and/or Skills Required:Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a construction related field.High School Diploma/GED or equivalentAbility to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently.Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer.Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to pass and maintain required certifications
