Job Title: Lead Clinical Therapist (Attachment-Based & Family Preservation)
Location: Buckhannon, West Virgini
All Status: Independent Contractor (1099) with a clear path to W-2/Employee status
Compensation: Revenue-Share Model (50% of collected revenue
The Mission
We are not a "clinical factory." We are a specialized, high-acuity practice dedicated to one singular mission: keeping West Virginia families together.
Our state is facing a foster care crisis, and we believe that the current system is often reactive rather than preventative. We are building an agency designed to intervene at the highest levels of need, providing intensive, attachment-based support that helps parents and children heal together, preventing the trauma of family separation. The Approach
We utilize an attachment-based clinical model to treat the underlying relational trauma that often leads to CPS involvement. We don’t just provide "talk therapy"; we provide stabilization. Our clinicians are partners in a process that empowers families to meet the rigorous expectations of the court and child welfare systems so they can exit the system, rather than cycle through it.
What You Will Do
High-Acuity Clinical Care: Provide in-home and/or outpatient therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families involved in, or at risk of entering, the foster care system.
Collaborative Intervention: Work closely with the agency owner and family support partners to provide comprehensive, attachment-focused support that addresses the family’s clinical needs.
Documentation Excellence: Maintain high-standard, compliant clinical documentation that serves the client’s legal and clinical record needs.
Professional Partnership: Participate in monthly peer-led clinical staffing and case consultation. We value your expertise; this is a place where you will have a voice in clinical programming and strategy.
What We Are Looking For
Licensure: Must be a fully licensed clinician in West Virginia (LICSW, LPC, or LMFT).
Clinical Alignment: Demonstrated experience or a deep interest in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and systems work.
Resilience & Autonomy: You are comfortable working with complex cases and possess the clinical independence to manage your own caseload effectively.
Compliance Mindset: You understand that clinical quality and billing compliance go hand-in-hand. You are reliable, punctual, and committed to professional standards.

Please note: Must be currently licensed in WV and eligible for credentialing with major WV MCOs.
