Job Summary and Qualifications

Lead MRI Technologist

Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed MRI Technologist for a full‑time lead role. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity.

Lead MRI Tech Duties

Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment

Obtain high‑quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation

Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material

Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated

Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time

Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist

You will check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases

Keep room(s) stocked with necessary supplies

Accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care

Qualifications

Graduate of a 2‑year Radiologic Technology program at an AMA‑approved school

1‑3 years previous MRI Technologist experience

Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

Valid ARRT (R) + ARRT (MR) credentials

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills

Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
