Job description
Lead Orthodontic AssistantAdventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM, is currently seeking a Lead Orthodontic Assistant to optimize patient flow, deliver outstanding patient service, and increase patient satisfaction through leading and the development of the team. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.Pay range: $19-$28/hr (AND BONUS OPPORTUNITY)Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and training of Orthodontic Assistants and lead group trainings as necessaryExplain treatment and tailor personal care education to the patient's needsEstablish clear expectations for teammates around desired patient experience and respond promptly to customers' needsSupport optimized schedules with effective open treatment calls on a regular basis with a goal of providing education to patient parent/guardians on the importance and urgency of their pending treatmentParticipate in Orthodontic Assistant interviews and performance evaluationsEnsure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved childrenMinimum QualificationsActive certification that meets state requirementsRadiology education and training that meets state requirementsPrevious orthodontic assisting experienceExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to train and lead a team of Orthodontic AssistantsExperience leading multi-dimensional, cross-functional tasks
