Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our not-for-profit, patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and serve as a clinical resource for a team of sonographers. You will collaborate with radiologists and providers to support accurate, timely diagnoses while ensuring compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, supporting orientation and education, optimizing room and equipment use, and promoting continuous quality improvement in a fast-paced clinical environment.
