Job description
Shield AI is seeking an experienced structural engineer to lead the design, analysis, and validation of next‑gen UAV airframes. You will own concepts through drawing release, perform linear and nonlinear FEA, and collaborate with aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and manufacturing to ensure robust integration.
You will select materials (composites, aluminum alloys), guide tests, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with MIL-STD, FAA standards and internal Shield AI policies.
