Overview
A well-established regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Anchorage office. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on complex business and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general business or complex commercial litigation and be ready to contribute to high-profile cases in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Handle general business and complex commercial litigation matters.
Participate in motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
Contribute to high-profile cases in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Manage projects independently and work with others to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
3+ years of litigation experience (motions, depositions, trial prep)
Background in general business or complex commercial litigation
Strong academic credentials, references, and legal research/writing skills
Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively
Alaska Bar admission or eligibility preferred
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Persuasive communication and influencing skills
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Compensation
Salary Range: $165,000 – $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Bonuses: Productivity and merit-based bonus eligibility
