Job description
Vernis & Bowling’s Atlanta office is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Civil Litigation Defense department. Candidates should have0+ years of civil litigation experience in General Liability. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of 120+ lawyers located across 19 offices in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Our associates have the opportunity to eventually direct and lead files, provide initial analysis, develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take depositions, draft motions, attend hearings and negotiate settlements. Associates will also be able to assist with and lead trials.

Candidates must be current members of the Georgia Bar in good standing or be in the process of being sworn in imminently. Opportunities for bonus are available as well.
