We are seeking providers to help with call on one week per month starting ASAP. For our transplant nephrology coverage, we would need a nephrologist who either has trained in transplant nephrology or has experience taking care of kidney transplant patients. Duties would involve taking call for seven days - Monday 8 am to Monday 8 am. During in-patient call, they will consult on post-kidney transplant patients, write dialysis orders, manage kidney specific needs and also consult on liver patients that need nephrology input. Clinic coverage is necessary if the candidate is a transplant nephrologist – otherwise, we will simply use them for taking the M-M call. They will all receive phone calls from other physicians, ER's, outside hospitals to provide advice on immunosuppression management.
