7 On / 7 Off | Level I Trauma Center | Stroke & Thrombectomy Coverage | Epic EMR
Location: Youngstown, Ohio
Position Type: Locum Tenens

• 1 week per month (7 On / 7 Off)
• 7 AM-7 PM in-house + 12-hour beeper call based on service needs
• Provide 24/7 Neuroendovascular and ED Stroke Coverage
• Level I Trauma Center
• High-volume comprehensive stroke program
• Epic EMR
• Looking to onboard 2-3 physicians
Practice Details
100% Inpatient
Adult & Geriatric patients
Average 10-12 inpatients per day , plus new consults and emergency cases
Two Primary Stroke Centers and a high-volume Thrombectomy-Capable Center within the market
Clinical Responsibilities
• 24/7 Neuroendovascular call coverage
• Respond to ED Stroke Alerts
• Perform Mechanical Thrombectomy procedures
• Perform Neuroendovascular interventions as clinically indicated
• Manage acute stroke patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified Interventional Neurologist / Neuroendovascular Physician
Active Ohio Medical License
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
Clean malpractice, license, and background history (no exceptions)
