Physician Assistant | Surgery - Neurosurgery Location: Richmond, VA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Assignment Details Location: Richmond, Virginia Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Specialty: Neurosurgery Practice Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-Based Start Date: Mid-December 2026 Assignment Duration: Through at Least April 2027 Coverage Needed: 40 Hours Per Week Positions Needed: 1 Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave Coverage Compensation: Open rates Schedule Monday-Friday Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 40 Hours Per Week No Call Patient Population Adults and Geriatrics 100% Inpatient Average Daily Patient Volume: Varies Clinical Responsibilities Provide Daily Post-Procedural Care for Neurosurgery Patients Provide Inpatient Patient Management and Follow-Up Communicate With Patients and Families Regarding Patient Care Provide Patient and Family Education Collaborate With the Neurosurgery Team Work Alongside an Employed Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner Leadership / Teaching No Leadership or Teaching Responsibilities Required EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified - Required Active Virginia License in Hand - Required Candidates Needing to Obtain a Virginia License Will Not Be Accepted Active ACLS - Required Active BLS - Required Active DEA - Required Clean Background - Required No Malpractice or License Issues - Required Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 Days Temporary Privileges Available614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
