Job Title: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology - Bay City, MI

Shift: Monday-Thursday (7 am - 7 am, 24-hour call); Fridays (7 am - 7 pm, 12-hour shift)
Hours/Week: Varies based on shift schedule
Employment Type: Locum Tenens
Licenses/Certs: Medical license required; ERCP skills necessary
Experience: Prior GI experience preferred; at least 2 years recommended
Pay & Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

Additional reimbursements: Licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses as per policy (no Med Staff Fees reimbursements). Car, fuel, and hotel expenses covered up to a $150 cap.
What You'll Do: Provide 24-hour call coverage for GI services, ensuring quality patient care
Perform ERCP procedures and support hospitalist and surgical teams
Collaborate with colorectal surgeons and supportive staff
Contribute to patient management in a community hospital setting
Maintain documentation and follow-up for GI cases
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
What You Need: Valid medical licensure in Michigan
ERCP certification
Minimum 2 years of relevant GI experience
Strong procedural skills and patient communication
Ability to handle 24-hour call coverage and shift work
