Overview
Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine — Location: Caribou, ME; Employer: Delta Locum Tenens; Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details); Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours; Start Date: ASAP.
Responsibilities
Dates needed: Aug. 24-28 (nights); Sept. 4 (day); Sept. 12-13 (days); Sept. 15 (night); Oct. 14-16 (days); ongoing dates to follow.
Setting: Inpatient
Patient volume: 18 patients per 12-hour shift
Job details: 63-bed hospital with 11 ED rooms. Level II Trauma center
Day shifts: 6:30a-6:30p. Night shifts: 5:30p-6:30a
APP coverage: Mon-Thurs 10a-8p, Fri 10a-6p, Sat/Sun 10a-4p
Annual volume: 16,000
Hospitalists respond to codes; ER physician acts as backup
Qualifications
BC or truly BE in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with ED experience
EMR: T-System
