Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Kilgore, TX Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Kilgore, Texas Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity Freestanding emergency department • Ongoing coverage • Independent practice environment Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage at a freestanding emergency department in Kilgore, Texas. This role involves practicing independently in a lower-volume ED setting utilizing EPIC EMR, with approximately 50 shifts per month and flexible shift times. Opportunity Highlights Location: Kilgore, Texas Employment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Freestanding emergency department Coverage: Approximately 50 shifts per month Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Minimum commitment: 5 shifts per month Clinical Scope Emergency Medicine in a freestanding ED setting Independent practice in a lower-volume environment Use of EPIC EMR for documentation and orders Practice Environment This freestanding emergency department serves as a critical access point for Kilgore and surrounding communities, providing essential emergency care supported by modern technology. Physicians practice within a streamlined environment designed for efficiency, with dedicated physician coverage and EPIC EMR proficiency. Requirements Active Texas medical license MD degree EM Board Certified or FM residency trained Accepted certifications: ABEM, ABOEM, ABEM (with at least 2 years ED experience at facilities with 10,000 visits), ABFM, or ABFM Initial ATLS (not required to remain current); current ATLS and ACLS if non-boarded EM or FM Why Physicians Move on This Ongoing locum tenens coverage in a lower-volume ED setting Flexibility with shift scheduling and minimum commitment of 5 shifts per month EPIC EMR proficiency required Practice in a community-focused environment with modern technology Opportunity to work in a well-supported, independent practice setting in Kilgore, Texas Rhino Medical is leading the charge.
