Orangeburg, South Carolina Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity
November–January | Main ED + Freestanding ED | 8- & 12-Hour Shifts | ~60,000 Annual EM Visits
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage in Orangeburg, South Carolina , beginning in November and continuing through January, with the potential to extend.
This assignment offers something different from a traditional single-site Emergency Medicine opportunity: the ability to practice across two distinct ED environments —a substantial hospital-based Emergency Department with Level III Trauma capability and an affiliated freestanding Emergency Department . With a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts and approximately 60,000 annual Emergency Medicine visits across the program , physicians can expect meaningful clinical variety throughout the assignment.

Two Distinct Emergency Medicine Environments
At the main hospital, physicians practice within a 286-bed acute-care environment with Level III Trauma capability , providing access to the resources and clinical breadth of hospital-based Emergency Medicine.
The affiliated freestanding Emergency Department provides a different practice setting within the same assignment, giving physicians the opportunity to move between traditional hospital-based EM and freestanding emergency care.
