Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Texas City, TX Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 3 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty EMERGENCY MEDICINE - 75516 - MDs (79400) State TX Location 6801 EF Lowry Expressway, Texas City, TX 77591 Requirements Facility Name: HCA Mainland Specialty: Emergency Medicine ABEM PREFERRED - WILL MAKE EXCEPTIONS FOR STRONG EXPERIENCED PROVIDERS. Position specific questions · Reason for the need? Full time spots open · Is there a specific start date needed? ASAP · Duration of need? ongoing · What’s the schedule? On-site call coverage weekends nights o Are there specific dates needed? o If call is involved what is call volume? How often do they get called back on-site? o Call/Rotation schedule? · What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? 2 shadow shifts Specialty Specific Questions: Emergency Medicine · What are the shift times? 7a-7p 7p-7a · Is call involved? NA · What procedures are required? ED procedures including but not limited to intubation procedural sedation fracture reduction/splinting chest tube CPR suture repair IampD central line · What does the support staff include? nurses on call specialists · What is the average patient census? 55-60 daily. 2 patients per hour occasional larger boluses of patients 8 in an hourWhat are the most common cases the locum will see? medical complaints chest pain abd pain sob basic trauma fall mvc sports injury. Rarely severe or penetrating traumaAnnual ER admissions? NADoes the unit use robots? If so what kind?
