Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Washington Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 11/2/2026 About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 40-day assignment starting Oct 19, 2026, in Washington. This crucial role involves managing a high-acuity emergency department with approximately 24,000 annual ED visits, including pediatric cases, within a Trauma designated facility. The schedule offers flexibility with shifts available such as 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 10a-10p. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population. Manage high-acuity cases in a Trauma designated emergency department. Evaluate and treat pediatric patients as needed. Utilize Fast Track services for appropriate patient flow. Work designated shifts, including 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 10a-10p. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required. The facility utilizes Epic EMR. The emergency department has a Level III Trauma designation. Fast Track services are available. The acuity level is high, with an 11% admission rate.
