Schedule:
Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed.
No specific dates are provided until provider has accepted an offer.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation weekday call coverage 6a-6a
Details: Hospital based
100% Adult
10-15 hospital-based patients on average per day
PPD: 1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries
400 Total number of beds
12 ICU Beds
2 Physicians in practice, 5 Mid-lvels
Reason for coverage: change in staffing, looking to backfill
Level 1 trauma
EMR: Epic
2 Physicians
Required to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage.
Conversion/perm fee placement cap $25K
90 day credentialing timeframe
Required Procedures: General CV/Thoracic Surgery - open
Coronary artery bypass surgery - on pump & Off-pump
Congenital defects (ASDValvular Repair & replacement
Aneurysm Repair - Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic
ECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.
Preferred Procedures: Evaluation and management of acute vol /BP issues
Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter, IABP
Submission Requirements
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE DISCLOSED AT NAME CLEAR TO BE CONSIDERED AND AVOID BEING REDIRECTED!! Board Certified (Cardiovascular Surgery) - REQUIRED
Active Colorado License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
Must note provider is able to perform all required procedures - REQUIRED
Candidates must be able to perform heart surgery - focus on cardiac cases - REQUIRED (note years of experience at time of name clear)
Dissections (with proof of recent case logs to back up) - REQUIRED
Strong surgical case volume - REQUIRED
Active ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) - REQUIRED,
Clean background/no malpractice - REQUIRED
COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED, note at time of name clear
