Job description
We are seeking a Locums EmergencyMedicine Physician for coverage in Benton, Missouri. Thisopportunity is ideal for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician or aBoard-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with EmergencyMedicine experience. Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, andweekends .
Position Highlights
Locums Emergency Medicine
Flexiblescheduling required for days, nights, and weekends
No call
Average ED Census: Approximately81 patients
Annual ED Admissions: Approximately12%
Highervolume of lower-acuity Level 4 and 5 patients
ICUavailable for higher-acuity patients
Allstandard Emergency Department procedures required
Shift Options
Flexible PRN Scheduling-Scattered !0’s and 12’s
Clinical Environment
TheEmergency Department sees a broad range of presentations, with a higherpercentage of lower-acuity cases. The department also manages critically illpatients requiring advanced emergency interventions, including:
Intubation
Centralline placement
Otherstandard emergency procedures
Criticalcare stabilization and management
ICU-levelpatient care
Support & Services
The facilityhas access to an ICU and provides emergency care in a setting withoutdedicated:
Pediatricservices
Plastics
Neuro-interventionalradiology
Cardiaccatheterization laboratory
Obstetrics
Neurologyand psychiatric services are available to support patient care as needed.
Requirements
BoardCertified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine , OR FM/IM with 3+years Emergency Medicine experience
BoardCertified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
ATLS required
ACLS required
PALS required
ActiveMissourimedical license
