Job description
Locums – Hershey, Pennsylvania, Maternal and Fetal Medicine Job
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: 6 months
Scope of Practice:
Outpatient MFM consultations
Obstetrical ultrasound services
Inpatient MFM coverage, including: Antepartum/postpartum rounding
MFM consultations
Cerclages
Some deliveries
Supervision of MFM APPs, fellows, and residents
Schedule & Coverage:
Weekday outpatient: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. 30-minute lunch break
Weekday inpatient: 6:45 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Home night call required
Labor & Delivery backup call required
Weekend inpatient coverage: Friday 5:30 p.m.–Saturday 7:00 a.m.: MFM beeper call/backup
Saturday: Inpatient rounds, duration as needed
Sunday 7:00 a.m.–Monday 7:00 a.m.: MFM beeper call/backup
Lunch: 30-minute break; provider must sign out and sign back in

Pediatric Trauma Level I
Hospital stroke certified
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff:
RN/MAs: Varies
1 PA/NP
1 office staff
Provider required to supervise APPs
Requirements:
Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Fellowship required
Active Pennsylvania license required
