Looms Creeler PositionNesco Resource is looking for an experienced Looms Creeler in Hickory, NC.Shift: 1st 7am - 7pm - 2/2/3 rotationPay: $17.00 (plus $1.00 bonus per hour end of month if no days missed/left early or come in late)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Check daily sheet for ordersCheck all safety harnesses and safety equipment prior to start of and during shiftLoad yarn and ensure proper string up through tensions and eyelets to the front of the creel machineCheck that strings are correctly loaded in eyelet bars and ensure broken strands are found and restrung in a correct and timely mannerMust be able to ascend/descend a ladder safelyDetermine creel types and setup machine correctlyLoad creel according to loom scheduleTie start end of new package to tail of the removed packageSome use of latex gloves during this operationEducation:High school diploma or equivalent preferred2-5 years experience in predominantly manufacturing environmentBasic math knowledge, Percentages, understand ratios, work with ratios and simple measurement unit conversions (g/kg, mm/inch, etc)Knowledge and Experience:High level of accuracy in filling out paperwork: production documentation, nonconforming material documentationAbility to recognize quality issuesAbility and willingness to adhere to operational disciplineFollow site rules and site safety and security proceduresAble to follow written procedures in great detailAble to trouble shoot machinery and production processCommunicates well in English on production, quality and maintenance issues, verbally, or in writing.Capable of writing production related information clearly and tersely.Basic knowledge of Excel and Word is highly desired.Forklift driving certification highly desirable.
