Machine Operator – 2nd ShiftDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a manufacturing company in Milford, IA. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality fabricated products while working with a variety of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and contributing to a quality-focused team, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!Operate and set up machines according to job specifications and production requirementsWork with fabrication equipment including brake presses, laser machines, CNC equipment, saws, routers, and related machineryPerform quality inspections on first articles and throughout production runsMonitor equipment and materials to identify quality concerns or production issuesEnter production data and metrics into company systems for tracking and reportingTroubleshoot and communicate equipment issues to reduce downtimeMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety proceduresHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read a tape measure and perform precise measurementsAbility to read blueprints and use inspection and measuring toolsBasic computer and data entry skillsBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, reach, and grasp for extended periodsPrevious manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred but not requiredEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
