World class ability to adapt to the most various and demanding customer requirements.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredThird Shift (Sunday through Friday from 11:30pm to 07:30am)Performs typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor.Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspect.Machine Operator Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus.Ability to read and follow work instructions.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
