Machine Operator/Heavy Lifting 1st and 3rd ShiftsJob Title: Machine OperatorEmployment Type: Temp-to-HireLocation: Spartanburg, South CarolinaPay: $21.00 per hour (1st Shift) | $21.00 per hour + $0.75 shift premium (B Shift)Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (1st Shift) or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (B Shift)Job Summary: Allegiance Staffing in Greer is seeking experienced Machine Operators for a leading paper products manufacturing company in Spartanburg, SC. These are temp-to-hire opportunities for dependable individuals with manufacturing experience who thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Machine Operators will be responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and safely handling materials throughout the manufacturing process. This position requires frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds throughout the shift and working in a non-climate-controlled facility that is hot during the summer and cold during the winter.Key Responsibilities:Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to manufacture paper productsMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality productionPerform equipment start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures according to company standardsInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specificationsLoad raw materials and remove finished products from production linesMaintain a clean and organized work area following safety guidelinesReport equipment issues, malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors promptlyFollow all company safety policies and standard operating proceduresAccurately complete production documentation and shift reportsWork collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goalsRequired Qualifications:18 years of age or olderPrevious machine operator or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shiftAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled production environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyAbility to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during a 12-hour shiftReliable attendance and dependable work ethicPreferred Qualifications:Experience operating production or manufacturing equipmentExperience in paper, packaging, or industrial manufacturing environmentsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a production teamCore Competencies: Machine Operation, Manufacturing, Production Equipment, Quality Control, Safety Compliance, Material Handling, Attention to Detail, Physical Stamina, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Production Operations
